| Hey 3kirt - welcome to sixpackattackforum! Had a look at your blog and thought i would talk out loud. I do not think that taking pictures a 5lb intervals will work to be honest. You have got to remember that not only are you burning fat thought this process but also gaining muscle so you will get to a point where you will stop loosing weight and start gaining it again. Take a look at this topic: https://6paforum.forumotion.com/general-discussion-f4/pictures-motivation-t84.htmAlso to the naked eye when you start to gain weight again it may be depressing because you think all your hard work is not paying off. It is worth buying something to measure your body fat percentage. That way you can not only measure body fat but also the percentage of lean muscle you have. Take both of these measurments every 2 weeks or so and note them down. If you see yourself gaining weight check these figures; you may see that the lean muscle percentage has gone up and the body fat percentage has gone down - therefore the extra weight is muscle. Keep working hard, and keep updating us with progress. I look forward to seeing you round the forum. Sean | |

| Welcome to the forum 3kirt, you gonna love it here. Listen to what Sean just said, thats good advice. Measure that bodyfat, it's the only way to go. I measure my BF % every 4 weeks, u can see a more accurate pattern if you do it every month.

| Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'll look into finding a way to measure my BF%. I haven't up until now only because I don't really have an accurate way to do it. I've just been going on the anecdotal evidence that i feel (and look) stronger and weigh less so I'm assuming everything is peachy keen. | |

| Buy the Accumeasure BF tester, it's very accurate and it designed for self testing. And it is very affordable, you really can't go wrong with it | |
