| Really good cardio last night, heart rate hitting the 175 bpm mark during the most intense sections of the work out, and down to 130 bpm after 4 minutes of warm down. My resting pulse is 55 bpm this was taken in the morning while still in bed, when your heart rate should be at its lowest, and is an average of three days of measuring it.

| Had trouble with the double crunches one day one, so last night i put 2 pillows under me, one under my lower back and one under my hips, found that it helped with the starting posision, and ment i could really punch them out. | |

| Double crunches, I use padding under my tail bone else I get bruises. My wife laughed when she saw my bruised ass. Friends don't let friends get bruised assed doing double crunches. Keep up the good work! | |

| pull ups are a issue, so i'm doing some resistance work with my body elastics to help build some strengh in my arms.

| having to work even harder on my cardio to get my heart rate up, which is a good thing, means i'm getting fitter may add a 4th rep next week to keep the calorie burn rate up. all in all a good week, bring on week 3. | |

| Thanks for all the comments guys, its great motivation to do even better over the next two weeks, you all should take some of the credit as well, because I know with out this forum I would not have worked as hard as I did. Well done to all the others that have done so well over the last 2 weeks, sorry I can’t post back to everyone individually, but I do read the blogs with interest and they are a great source of motivation to me. Keep up the great work.

| First day with the resistance bands, played around with them before I started the workout to try and get the resistance right. It was a bit of trial and error but I think I’ve got it about right. The 4 super sets is upping the ante now, bring it on. | |

| Cardio again last night, I’m really loving this now the endorphin release when you’ve finished is such a rush. My partner Ann made me put my heart rate monitor back on when we had sex later, it was bloody hilarious, puts a whole new angle on getting the pulse racing. Just do it Pete. | |

| Resistance training last night went well, I need to get some gloves for the body lastics though as they are rubbing on my sweaty hands. My sweaty back also makes a farting noise when I do the hip thrusts on the foam mat I use, much to the amusement of my partner Ann. | |
