| Thanks for the comments Aaron; I don’t know about winning though, everybody are doing really well and its early days yet. I have broken the circuit training up into 4 groups of 2 with a rest in between; I find this works well for me. The diet is the most difficult part to get right, it’s a real minefield, the advice I have had from Manny and Steve has helped, it’s just a case of getting the fine tuning right now. | |

| Last resistance day of week 5, the extra meals have defiantly made a huge difference to my stamina, on the down side my chin has exploded with spots, don’t know what that’s all about? Any ideas | |

| A minute can seem an awfully long time some times. I’ve split the routine up into groups of 2 again which works well for me, I can really push it for 2 then rest, I can really feel those toe touches working my abs lovely job. | |

| Good stuff Pete! Glad to hear that the toe touches are working for you. I agree 1 minute can be a awefully long time, especially on some exercises. Stick with it mate - you progress is amazing.

| Cheers Sean; 300 challenge last night, did what I could with the equipment I have at home. Made up the rest, put on some music and off I went fantastic. | |

| Second night of resistance training last night. My knees were playing up a bit after the warm up ( old rugby injury ) so I swapped out the leg exercises for some upper body ones, It was a good session all in all, but I could tell last nights 300 challenge had taken its toll. It was all I could do to take a shower afterwards. | |

| Cardio was ace last night, don’t know why, every thing just seemed to flow really well. I was late starting because I had to go to a meeting first, and didn’t get home till 10pm, may be it was because my food had longer than usual to digest. It’s noticeable that the posts both here and on people’s blogs have dropped off a lot over the past few days, I hope it’s because people are Busy and they haven’t fallen by the way side. Extremes of change are hard to maintain over a long period of time were as small changes are easier to carry forward for the rest of your life, and maintain a healthy mind, body and soul. I really hope every one sticks with it, I for one try and stay focused on why I started this in the first place, look back at my start photos, and say “I don’t want to go back to being like that.”
Stay strong Just do it Pete.

| Hey there Pete. Good to hear your keeping it up! I've been one of the 'innactive' people, i know. I got this crazy virus at the beggining of last week and that thing kept me down for the whole week and part of this week. I have to admit that by weekend i was feeling really bad, not about the illness but about not being able to workout... really frustrated. To spice it up, i had this crazy test week, really hard shit, and that took me the little energy i had. Thank god the crazy test period ends tomorrow with a 4hours test (electronics..) Anyways i got a lot of support from some of the guys here (the mods/admin... sorry i didnt commented the illness to all of you) and also support from some of my friends here in D.R., The illness is finally gone too, so after tomorrow's test i'll be officially comming back ! Very excited about it. I think ill start doing the 300 i missed !! | |

| Hay Manny; sorry to read that you’ve been ill, prioritizing your studies is the most important thing, after all that’s what’s going to keep food on the table, and money in your pocket for the rest of your life. Good to know your back in the fight now. My resistance went well last night, seem to have the balance right of exercise and diet. I think last week I tied to do too much and suffered the penalty. I need to be patient, not one of my strong points. I know that you are still with us Xavi and doing really well can’t wait to see the photos, they are for me one of the best motivators, Think you got me mixed up with Steve in your last post here, but what the hell thanks for your comments they mean a lot to me
Stay strong Just do it Pete.

I agree Pete, it is noticable. Hopefully members are not dropping off as that would be a huge shame - especially for them. All i can say is, if anyone is dropping off, or struggling, please feel free to PM me and talk to me about it. I will always offer advise, and although i am not a qualified professional, people generally feel they can talk to me and feel a hell of a lot better about themselves. Keep up all the hard work Pete - it really shows! Your progress is great and i cannot wait to see they results after the 16 weeks. Sean

| Hi guys thanks for the comments they mean a lot. You’re right about the weight Sean; I’ve lost 14lb of fat. I retook the photos last night and got the flash to work properly. http://thesixpackjourney.blogspot.com/ Week 7 300 challenge week this is really tough, I can’t manage 30 pull ups in one go and had to split them up, and all those different push ups killed my arms. | |

| Thanks Manny, the people on here I feel genuinely what every one to complete this and reap the rewards both physically and mentally, and that means a lot in this day and age of self obsession. Having said that I didn’t do my resistance work last night, got home late from work and found I had some plumbing issues ( not me, the house ) so I had to deal with that, but I will take that as my day off instead of Sunday.
Just do it Pete. | |
