Worked through the weekend, as I took Tuesday as my rest day this week. It’s week 8 for me now, half way through I can’t believe were the time has gone. Last week was tough with 4, 300 challenges, but no pain go gain. Body fat % is still my main priority as I can feel there are good things below the fat, Steve is my inspiration to achieve this goal, just check out his blog http://steventwoscoops.blogspot.com/ he is the body fat king and I’m sure he will achieve his goal of 5%.

So good to be doing the super sets routine again, I much prefer this way of working instead of the 300 challenges of last week, even though I’m doing more reps splitting them up into separate body areas with a rest in between works far better for me. I have also been given a new nick name at home of turnip head as my head goes red as I push out the last few reps. Embarassed

Rowers are amazing - full body workout! (just like swimming...and sex! Very Happy )

I have a concept 2 rower at home and it never fails to kick arse! Many-a-time have i tried getting off it after a mighty hard row and fallen stright back down again.

You will not be dissapointed with your bargin purchase!

I actually had a race against my mums boyfriend, how many meters can you cover in 30 minutes i did just under 7,500 meters! i won! lol. I didnt move for a while after that one!

Good luck with it mate! That will really give you a burn.

PS. Please look up proper technique for rowing, not only does it make it easier but it also stops you hurting yourself!

Most odd last night, did my resistance fine, and then came down with serious sickness and diarrhoea, I never knew it was possible to piss out your ass, (was that too much information? Yea I think it was.) Still, feeling much better today, but I will take tonight as my day off.

What a difference 24hrs makes, feeling much better today. Cardio tonight, but not going to go too mad as energy levels are still quite low, but I want to keep up my 100% record of 6 days a week training.

Thanks for the comments guys, they really mean a lot, most of the credit for it is down to you guys on here, if it wasn’t for this forum I would probably have given up by now. Self discipline is not one of my strong points,
Ann is defiantly loving it Sean, and she asked me to thank you all as well for getting the old Pete back not just in body, but in mind as well. Starting in business on my own two years ago took a hell of a lot out of me, and at times has been insanely stressful, and at times I have lost sight of what are the most important things in life, your loved ones and your health.

Thank you all
Pete

Resistance work last night went really well, I can’t believe how my core strength has improved, and I’m finding it a lot easier to hold good form during the exercises. I can now do 8 good quality pull ups apposed to 4 8weeks ago. My new rowing machine has come now, and I’m loving that, it makes a change from the cross trainer, and I can really get a good sweat up on it. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I hate to think how many you can do sub, judging by the size of your upper body in your blog photos it must be loads. You must be the upper body king on this forum.

Top tip of the day; don’t leave all your keys in your coat pocket, then lend your coat to a friend to get home on his bike because it had started raining. That’s what I did then realised when I went to go home that I had no keys to lock up the shop or for the car scratch . Ann had gone out for the evening so could not get the spare set either Evil or Very Mad . Managed to find a spare padlock to lock the outer door, then ran the 4 miles home with my steel toe capped boots on, but on the bright side it was a hell of a cardio session. bounce bounce bounce

Good solid resistance session last night, although I must admit the tops of my legs were hurting like hell from the run the night before. I seem to be loosing weight from the top down, every week a bit more muscle seems to appear from under the fat. They are not really pronounced yet, but they are there. I guess I am proof that this programme does work if you stick with it.

Just a short one today, getting really busy in the work shop now. I’m afraid I was a bit slack over the weekend, ate way too much food and work out effort was poor. Have given my self a good verbal bollocking and I’m now back on track. No No No No
