Question:
You can complete the exercises in any order, right?

But, do you have to finish all 30 of one and move onto the next, or can you alternate between the exercises (ie 15 pushups, 15 jump squats etc..to = 30.)?

Also, For the alternating split squats are they 30 each leg so 60 total?

Yes.

Good question. It sure would make pull-up easier. I don't know the rules on this one.

Yes. One count both legs.

Ok so there are 10 '300' workouts that Arnel has provided through http://www.mensworkoutguide.com/home.html . Steve has quite rightly said that these should be done every 10 days starting from 30th January - originally i thought ever 2 weeks would be a good start place however every 10 days means that we can fit all 10 workouts into our 16 weeks of pain. Coming from this; here is the timetable:

300 Workout 1: 30th Jan
300 Workout 2: 9th Feb
300 Workout 3: 19th Feb
300 Workout 4: 29th Feb
300 Workout 5: 10th Mar
300 Workout 6: 20th Mar
300 Workout 7: 30th Mar
300 Workout 8: 9th Apr
300 Workout 9: 19th Apr
300 Workout 10: 29th Apr

The way i see it we have two options, the 300 workout could substitute one of our resistance days; or it can be an additional workout. I personally will have it as an additional workout (it just means that i will have to juggle what days i do resistance training on - but on the bright side the body will never stop guessing!)

2 days to go!

SPARTANS - PREPARE FOR GLORY!

Thanks Sean!

I too will be performing the 300 in addition to the 16 week routine. The 30th happens to be a resistance day for me, so I will do both that day with sufficient time lapse between routines. However I will omit speed intervals on days where 300 & resistance overlap.

I'm excited for this challenge!

I guess I'm the first to report back...

WOW, this was a hell of a workout! My heart was racing like if I were OD'ing on crack and my energy levels dropped gradually from "Let's DO this" to "Let's crawl through this". Especially the pull ups at the end were masochistic, dayum!

But I did it, HOOAH! king

Damn KinKyJ i totally agree with you! I have literally just finished it - My God!

Started off at a good pace, the first 5 exercises were solid straight 30 reps with minor pauses (not rests) the next 5 really took its toll. I had to put weight lifting gloves on for the burpees because my hands were soaked in sweat and were slipping on my floor. The pull ups definatly finished me off, had to do them in sets of 5 with 5/10 seconds rest - i was just so weak after the 270 reps before them!

Hell of a workout - cant wait for the 9th Feb for the second one!!!

Time for a shower i think...

Good luck to every one doing this today!

Wassup Spartans!

Fuckaround I havn't felt that much pain since week 7 of the first 16 weeks. But I hit it hard, pressed on through the pain, saw the light at the end of the tunnel and made it. Can't describe the feeling I had after the workout was done, I can't understand how any1 can do drugs.

Frikken feel like a spartan now cheers bring on the persians lol

Can't wait for the next one, gonna need 10 days 2 recover from that geek

Oh my fuck*ng GOD!

I just finished it and i...am... exhausted....

I was amazed i did 30reps straight for most of the exercises. Of course i suck at pullups so i break it down to 2x15sets. I cant find the right balance for the double crunch so i did 30x leg raise instead... killer.

Im glad most of you guys reported mission acomplished for today. cheers cheers

Good Luck to the rest of the guys. I hope you guys get throu it succesfully.

BRING ON THE PERSIANS!!! <-- Steve keeps surprising me lol, nice 1.

That was difficult and in 2 hours I do week 5.3 routine. Some how I don't think I'll be able to achieve the same number of reps I've been doing. Smile My triceps are swollen from the pull-ups. Had to break pull-up into 2 sets {18 + 12}, also broke dive bombers in 2 sets {20 + 10}. Other than that I'm happy.
