| I haven't cheated yet and I don't plan to do so. I'm a perfectionist, so I want to do everything according to the plan/schedule.. | |

| Thats great man, great attitude but you don't have to be that strict on yourself, u can cheat as long as it is a small cheat and you limit it 2 once or twice a week at the max. I like cheat meals every now and then because after a good amount of weeks of eating clean youre gonna crave that junk like mad.
In the first challenge I went the first 30 days without a cheat and then craving was to much lol but everyone is different, i guess if you make all your healthy meals taste great the urge to cheat will be much less

| The 'cheating' topic has always been controversial. Here's my opinion about it. I agree with both of you. If i had the chance to keep things 100% as planned (no cheating) there's no doubt i wouldnt stick to it, but it all depends on the person/situation. For example, few days ago (after this program started) i went to a club with my buddies and i didnt even tried to 'not drink', i had 1 beer. What i find really incredible is that after that beer i could keep drinking like crazy and have 10 beers but i didnt! I stopped for a second and i was like 'hey, 1 beer is enough. Its cheating, but 1 isnt really that bad' and i just didnt drinked more. Maybe for some of you that isnt a big deal, but for me that was fucking incredible! All im saying is, if you have (or need) to cheat, as long as you are willing to stick with your healthy habits later, and if you have the strengh to stop cheating (in case of beer ) i say go for it! Your body will actually thank you. Cheat or dont cheat, keep working! Results are comming! | |

| You're right, Manny.. As for me I'm a former soldier, so I put discipline above everything else. I will try to do these 16 weeks without cheating AT ALL. I know it's gonna be hard whenever my Welsh buddies are coming over.. But I'm still gonna try as hard as I can.. By the way, 1 beer equals 1 piece of Danish... think about that when you want to down your next Corona or Carlsberg.. | |

| Thats one of my goals for the competition, to not have any alcohol for the entire challenge. So far I'm going strong. I might have a Danish though, maybe | |

| Beer is my downfall too. It sucks because it's sooooo many empty calories and on top of that, it really demotivates me the next day to do anything. I can't even go out because I'll end up having 4 or 5 or more beers like I did last Saturday. There's something about watching football or basketball that makes me want to drink. I guess it's just my mind set and habit. I'm getting better, but it's so hard for me to sit there and not drink when all my buddies are. I'm still working at it. | |

| Burgs, keep at it and don't give into temptations. You will find it hard and your friends will try and make you drink but you will thank yourself for not drinking in the morning. Im still heading down the pub Friday night to see a lot of my friends - looks like i will be drinking J2O all night! Don't forget; Its Mind over Matter | |

| Yea beer will definately be the downfall of your six pack abs. If you're able to walk into a bar and sip on your juice while everyone else is drinking away then you are the man and you will be so grateful in the morning when you're able to do that workout. Just think about it, when was the last time you drank and actually felt good the next day.... totally not worth it | |

| I agree, it's easier than you think not to drink alcohol. So far I've had to say no to booze 3 times in the last 12 days, quite simply have to say no thanks I'll stick to juice/water etc. You get the odd look from people for doing that but it's totally worth it and I'm sure you will all agree with me. | |

| Yeah, i do agree with you Even tho i regret having that beer before (at the beginning of week1) it happened so there's nothing i can do about it. But now im completly convinced that this is the way to go. Good job Sean , i will follow your example from now on Keep things running guys! | |

| I agree, there;s no point looking abck into the past, you had a beer, doesn't matter, it's better than two and even better than 4 beers so if you look at it that way you did good. I'm always trying to look at the better side of things. | |

| Having one beer won't kill you, Manny.. Just keep it to that one and don't drink for the rest of the 16 weeks.. - I know that you will thank yourself whenever we are done and you got that lean, mean six-pack.. | |

Thats very true, do not dwell in the past, that will just de-motivate you and make you think that you have failed and i will tell you now None of us are going to fail!On the topic of beer and drinking at the pub; we all now know that both Beer and Coke are out of the question - and J2O although nice, is also boring - So what about Red Bull? Im not a great fan of it but i did find on Friday that i was not as energetic or relaxed as when i am downing the beer and i think that if i hype up on one or two Red Bulls that i will get that energy back and relax a bit as well. What do you lot think? Red Bull ok or not?

| Thanks for the comments guys. About the RedBull, i found this site and looks like someone did the homework for us already. http://h.whyville.net/smmk/whytimes/article?id=4490 I think says its banned in Denmark? Is that true Danny? Even tho, we need to find some substitute for beer/alcohol when we hit the clubs. | |

Even tho, we need to find some substitute for beer/alcohol when we hit the clubs. Ahhh great. Maybe one wont hurt - get the energy pumping.... Anyone know of a sensible substitute (Other than J2O) to alcohol, coke, and now Red Bull?
