| Sound like a good idea? I think it is. From next week i will start running to work, I will be taking it one week at a time. The first week run 1 day, the second week run 2 days, the third week run 3 days, and so on till i run every day to work (Thankfully they have showers!). It should take anywhere between 20 and 30 mins from work to home, and as each interval is 3 minutes long i will be doing at max 10 sets. The reason that i am taking it one week at a time is firstly so i do not burn myself out. Secondly its because so far i have not been doing interval training but relying on my swimming as my cardio work. This would sufice as my cardio but i want to get fitter on land as well so i will ease in the running. What do you lot think? End up running 5 mornings a week doing 10 sets of intervals? Heck if its good i may even run home too He he he Sean | |

| That's a great idea bro Not only your adding more HIIT to your week, but also your saving $ (either $ in gas or pay for public transp). I say go for it! Since im lacking of HIIT lately too, i think im gonna be trying something similar. College is like 30min from home, but i dont like using the showers over there so... i migh go to class with some shorts on my backpack and run my way back home How come i didnt came up with that before!? Its awesome. I migh start TODAY! | |

| Good idea man, I personally wouldn't do it lol my HIIT sessions twice a week burn more than enough for me. Plus I wanna try and maintain as much muscle mass as possible. | |

| I have 15 mins to work on my bike, so I get a little extra HIIT every day.. I must say, that I can't feel it, but who gives a shit? - I know it's working, cuz so far I've lost 22 lbs of pure fat.. - My weight is now 158 lbs, so I must be doing something right.. | |

| Well guys, i can sit here proud. I did it. I ran to work. In the freezing cold. Go me!
Sadly it wasn't HIIT style, i am not that good at running. (I may be able to swim non stop but put me on land to run and i am useless.) I had a few stops and starts, but overall i am impressed with this as it is the first time. The only way is up now. Next week i will run two days to work and build up week and week.
One final point, i am soooooo glad the shower was working when i got to work! | |

| I reckon if you did it every single day you would end up burning yourself out, maybe just do it on your HIIT days. That should work just fine. | |
