Thanks Steve - will be hard work as more members join to moderate but i will do it as i know it will improve motivation and keep people working hard. I will start making some members mods at some point - when the forum picks up anyway.

PostSubject: End of Week 1   Sun Jan 13, 2008 5:51 pm

So it's the end of the first week and I'm feeling great. I was a successful week, managed to get all the workouts and HIIT in and performed them as hard as I can. The only thing that I could of improved on during this week was my diet, i normally allow myself two small cheat meals a week but this week I had 3 due to poor planning (basically didn't have my food with me and had to grab some stuff from the store where I was) Mad So that's something I'm going to work on for week 2.

I'm using the dumbbells for some of the exercises and it's great, it's a nice way to up the intensity of your workout. No progress pictures this week because I'm going to update my blog every 2 weeks with my progress pictures.

Hope the rest of you guys had a successful first week, I'm looking forward to reading all your guys updates. It's great motivation if everyone is active in this forum and is updating there workout logs every week

Consistancy is Key!

I really should update my workout log more often! lol

Today was a good day for working out, completed my last resistance workout for week 2, was excellent. Every workout I'm adding more resistance to keep the intensity up, thats a great thing for me cuz if im adding more weight every workout then im making some progress and getting stronger. Which is true because my workout log that I made in excell confirms that. Everybody should keep workout logs where you record all the different resistance that you used for the different exercises. I like it because you can see exactly where you are improving and the bodyparts thar require more work.

So I did that workout in the afternoon, then tonite I felt like doing some more resistance training so I did a 24min strength training workout that I made up just using bodyweight, dumbbells and bodylastics, was really intense and great. I'm gonna sleep like a baby 2nite.

woo man second week already you dont even sound tired.

Dont worry too much about the cheat meals understand where you didnt plan properly and just correct it next time, sometimes its unavoidable however its when it becomes a habbit its time to worry.

Keep it up man your doing great. bounce

lol I do got plenty tired during my workout, if it's not intense or I can feel that can push out more than the required reps then I add some more resistance. You get much better results if you add more weight insteading of doing an extra 10 reps or so. Today is cardio, it's a touch and go workout because you never know what's going to happen. Somedays you have an awesome cardio day and somedays you just not feeling it. Lucky for me all of my cardio days have been great so far.

Today is going to be good, I can feel it!!
