I’m loving the photo Sean, and well done with competition. I guess you have overcome the goggle problems you had last time you competed.

Well counties are over now, and what a few weeks they have been. I will post time updates at some point tomorrow.

I have decided to do a program based on the information in a book called Infinite Intensity. Its going to be a long, hard, and painful experiance but i know the results will be incredible.

Also on a side note, i have an idea for the next set of competitions to run on this forum. I will put these by people nearer the end of this one.

Night,

Sean

What a weekend. Sad to say absolutly no time for training...BUT...i did kinda make up for it.

Bank holiday Friday:
Me and my dad had some bonding time...we demolished his conservatory. It took us 5 hours in the freezing cold. Good thing, i got to make use of my new 10lb sledgehammer. Smile

Saturday to Monday:
Redocorating my room, none stop painting and taking apart units and beds.

So although i didnt do any specific training i have not stopped moving and i have not stopped being high off paint fumes pale

Tonight i have some strength training and core training to complete followed by 2 hours of swimming. Very Happy

I know what you mean Sean, holidays really mess up the routine, for me the problem was food when visiting family, and all those Easter eggs. It was a tough few days. lol! lol!

what a session last night...

When the pool is hotter than my morning shower i know i am in trouble. 2 hours in a sweltering pool, we are talking close to 35 degrees. Shocked

I cannot remember the sets we were doing but the sprints really made you feel dizzy and un-energetic...

...i hope the tempreture is back to normal by Thursday.

Sean

Death by Circuit Training last night. And i dont mean normal circuit training, i mean swimming circuit training.

Station 1: dive in, sprint half way, turn, sprint back, get out, repeat
Station 2: sprint backstroke turns
Station 3: Push-ups from the water (body in water hands on pool side and push yourself up)
Station 4: Jump in the water, get out the water, repeat

All are done for 1 minute

You might not think that looks too hard but the second time through you can tell i was giving it my all, through all the pain. On the push-ups i did 27 in the first set, the other guys my age did between 23 and 26, and then on the second set i did 26 and they did less than 20. I think i proved who was the fittest!

And yes i am paying for it this morning as i ache so much!

All worth it!

Ha ha

Damn man, sounds like an awesome intense workout. Can only be good for your body. It may hurt now but the pay off is worth any pain you put yourself through in order to get fitter

PEACE
Steve
