Less exciting session last night, just a run across the beach and back to the house. The tide was quit high, and running on the soft sand was hard going, as the pulse monitor showed by staying up in the 160 to 170 range for most of the run.

Couldn’t post yesterday no computer connection, scratch week 12 already can’t believe it, not much to report, I do seem to have reached a wall though and don’t seen to be making any improvement which is a bit of a pisser, still keep pushing, may be it will all come at once near the end.

I know how you feel, I've been staring at the wall for a couple weeks. Hopefully you'll be able to get past it and share what worked for you.

I have a list of all the people that started this challenge, on the wall were I work out, with a big pair of eyes drawn underneath it looking down on me. I use that as motivation, and say to my self “what would they say if you didn’t put in 100% with your work out ? “ but it’s tougher to get motivated by this now, as so many people have dropped out. I should talk about my work outs, but bollocks to that; I’ve just taken delivery of my new 2008 model Honda fireblade cbr 1000rr. I love you I love you Will post some photos when I’ve stopped shaking from the speed, and wiped the stupid smug grin off my face. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I’m afraid no work outs this weekend only some running. Ann and I were away in Salisbury with her horse, she rides competitively for Great Britain at endurance racing which is basically a 100 mile race in one day. This was just a training ride over a shorter distance, which was just as well as there was a lot of snow on the ground which delayed the start. Still back home now, and only a month to go till the end of the competition, so I need to put in some hard work for the final push. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

I had great plans for this week, but it’s not happening. No motivation or energy to do my workouts what so ever. I know things are getting really busy at work and I’m getting home late, but that’s no excuse really. The fact that so many people have given up on the 16 week challenge is a big factor ( no competition ) and the people that are left, are just doing there own thing and not the 16 week work out routine. The other factor is that I have reached a body shape and fat level that I am quit happy with and I know I can maintain. It may not be the best six pack in the world but its way better than the tub of lard I was when I started. I need a reason to push hard for the final few weeks and at the moment I haven’t got one. If any body has any ideas of how to put the fire back into what I am doing I would be grateful.

A bit despondent. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Dude...

DO NOT GIVE UP!

The you are an inspiration to everyone here! The changes you have made are so damn amazing. Yes people have given up, and shame on them, do not be like them. You are better than that. How do you think you will feel if you give up? You only have 3 weeks to go before you have done it! Completed the challenge! Done something many people have failed at.

Self pride my friend, thats what you will gain for completing this. That pride and the knowledge that people on this forum look up to you as you really do kick some serious arse.

I believe you can do this, others believe you can do this, i'm pretty sure you KNOW you can do this. Do not let yourself down man.

Keep it going man, keep it going.

Sean

Hey Pete,

I have no rights to tell you what to do or to force you to finish because i was one of the first that, due to an incredible school period (where i practically spend my days studying, eating, sleeping, studying, eating, sleeping, etc...) i 'lowered' my workout intensity...

HOWEVER, i cant wait to take my last tests of this period cuz I WILL COMPLETE my 16weeks! And believe me when i say that, on my few free minutes of these days, when i get the time to do a couple of pushups and abs, i come to the forum and check on you guys for motivation, and specially you.

So, bottomline, if you wanna quit, go ahead. But when i continue my workouts and my friends ask me why the hell im doing those 'rare' routines, I WOULD LOVE to answer 'dude, my friend Pete from England finished this and he's looking awesome! so shut the fuck up and give me those dumbells!'

You really are an inspiration for us bro, keep it up!

Manny.-
