Alright so it begins... Today (Jan 6th, 2008) i officially join you guys. I already posted my info for the challenge and i'll be posting my before pics soon. Some side-notes: - Good job Sean. This forum kick ass. - For the new members, taking pictures frequently its a great way to keep track of your progress. - Try your best to complete the routines but if you cant do them all (pullups will drain your soul) just do as much as you can do. Eventually you will be doing a few more than Arnel actually sugest - Eating healthy ITS A MUST. There's no such thing as 'I'll eat 2 double cheese burgers but ill do 20 more abs' . Its not as bad as it sounds. Just take nosugar Orage Juice instead of Coke, a couple of boiled eggs instead of steak, frie your chicken with olive oil, drink A LOT of water, eat A LOT of veggies and you will be fine - HIIT (cardio) are very important too. Try your best to do it. Its not only about using a bicicle or running. Arnel once told me that all you need its creativity. Try jumping rope, shadow boxing, swiming... Well thats it for now. See you guys around, Manny.-

I forgot to upload my before pics yesterday. Here they are: (click to enlarge) Well, that's me and my personal beer compartment. I guess there's no turning back now... its all about getting those sweet abs out. I deeply hope we all archive this goal. PD: As i said before, i will be updating more frequently on my blog ( http://manny6pack.blogspot.com/ ) so i can keep this log clean and updated like weekly or so. Take care guys, Manny.-

Hey guys. Here's my weekly update for the ForumLOG. Today is my rest day for week1. I feel great about it! Did all my workouts fine, including my weight lifting and abs routines (i adapted those to Arnels' 16weeks program, more info at my blog). I did missed however the pullups because my bar got fuck*d up and i dont really have any other place to do it. Not so worried tho, i already saw week2 and there is more pullups there so i will do my best to get the bar by tomorrow morning. Sorry, no update pics . I'll be doing 2 weeks pics updates as Steve says. I just think that its a more effective way to compare progress. So far i know Danny , Steve and Sean are done with week1. Way to go Guys! I hope the rest of you guys did alright too. I'll be checking some blogs later. Thats it for now. Get ready for week2! Thanks for reading, Manny.-

ALLRIGHT! I still dont have my camera back so i dont have the update pics at the moment, hopefully ill get it back today. But i had to post now because im really excited about something All i can say is: Forum Team : 2 Alcohol : 0 Heheh, i cant believe how much influence this group could have on me. I went out with my friends last night and there was beer, vodka and whiski all over the place. As Sean said, it was veeery easy to just say 'No thanks. Im good.' Today i feel great! I think that was my biggest challenge and now im over it! Lets go SixPackers! (sounds like a football team... ) _________________

Hi Manny, Well done on your first week, like you I can’t believe how much influence the group has on me. I use visualisation a lot to help keep me focused, I’ve got a list of all you guys in my wallet and on the wall were I work out, and every time I see it I’m reminded of why I’m doing this and it helps me keep the motivation assassins away. Have a great week I’m right there with you (just a bit older and fatter) Just do it Pete.

Hay Manny, you’ve got a great shape coming there now, you must be well pleased with those great results, just think what you will look like at the end of the 16 weeks. Thanks for putting my photos next to one another on my site, as I didn’t know how to do that myself.
