PostSubject: Grooming   Sat Jan 19, 2008 11:08 am

Well I thought I would start a topic to dicuss grooming.

I myself love grooming and my motto about it being less manly is "What is less manly a guy who wants to look good and smell good to the opposite sex or someone who dosnt"

I think alot of our transformations will be helped with grooming I think if you think you look better than you did before it helps you keep on the right track so without any more blah ill state my tips

If your quiet pale like me (ive always hated it could never get a tan) I now use nivea tanning facial moisturier, however be careful as ive known people go orange so I use it every other day and normal facial moisturier on the other or combo on each day depends how I feel)

Trevour sorbet molding mud. This was a weird find but ive always had trouble trying to get the style of hair I want and I find this helps it hold but dosnt go really hard, stickey or can't be washed out.

fcuk body wash and moisturier. At the moment though im using lynx with moisturier as it was only 0.99p from boots (UK)

erm well edf sprays i prefer having 2 or 3 as then I can shift round so at them moment its armani code, hugo boss soul and tommy hilfier aftershave.

at the moment I dont use this but when im thinner I will start using, this was recommended in mens health mag about 2/3 years ago but its aramis lab series ab rescue, this is to tighten skin around the ab area for use post workout to keep the just workout look use to be quiet good.

anyways any of you guys got any more tips?

Sup Aaron,

Great thread.. Smile - Without going all Cristiano Ronaldo or Becks (Metrosexual soccer players) on you guys, I just wanna add what I do to keep my mood up. This is what I use.. Razz

Eau de Toilette
Giorgio Armani: White
Issey Miyake: Leu (blah blah) de Issey
Chanel: Allure
Chanel: Allure Sport
Christian Dior: Dior (The cube)

Facial groomers
Shiseido facial lotion - I must say that this is the best facial lotion I've ever used.
Sanex After Shave Aid Balm - I tend to get VERY red after I shave, so I use this to avoid turning all tomato on my surroundings

Hair wax
d:fi Destruct - The one with the blue lit. It's excellent!

Shampoo
d:fi Destruct - I always use the same shampoo as my hair product. It contains all the anti's of whatever they put in the wax. Smile

Anti skin disease lotion
Medi-scrub lotion - You can see in my pictures, that I have some red rash on my arms and back. I'm currently fighting that with this lotion!

I know for a fact that most women like men who can take care of themselves, it actually subconciously sends a signal to them, that you can take responsability and in the animal world (yes, we belong in the animal world category) females tend to wanna maid with the strongest and most responsible males.. Start grooming, guys!.. Very Happy cheers

That is a really interesting fact. I do not take as much pride in my 'grooming' as you guys do. Its normally Tesco branded shampoo and conditioner (but it does work as i have to take good care of my hair because of all the chlorine). As far as aftershave, deoderant, and shower gel goes it has to be Lynx (thats all i seem to get off aunties and uncles for christmas so it has to be used!).

That all really - maybe i should take more time to 'groom' or maybe i shouldn't, chance is that by the end of the 16 weeks i think i will be for a complete makeover!

I dont really use lotions and stuff. Maybe because here is not that necesary after all. I get a daily tan Neutral (its sunny day almost all year around), for aftershave i have to go for Nivea. Cologne i have a few but the one i use the most is Carolina Herrera 212... Shampoo/Conditiones usually Herbal Ecsense (Loreal) and i guess thats pretty much it Very Happy

Even tho i agree with Sean. By the end of this 16 weeks who knows what other part of my daily life i will be changing.

Great post tho. Good info.
