PostSubject: Pre set meal plan   Sat Feb 09, 2008 3:09 am

I was thinking if we all combine our heads we can come up with a kick ass week meal plan.

Im thinking if we all throw ideas down then we'll create the plan on a .pdf then for one week we all do the same plan and see the results. Im just thinking it would be a good way for everyone to get tips and tricks for meals also would let us all do something at the same time.

One recipe I made last week was an omelet.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup 2% milk
  • 1 cup (more or less) broccoli chopped
  • 1 tomatoe diced
  • 2-4 basil leafs dices
  • pinch of parmesan

If doing only egg whites you'll probably need 3-4 eggs, possibly more. You can skip the parmesan of course. I presume everyone knows how to make an omelet therefore I don't need to give instructions.

That is a good idea, If we do this we will need to do one for men and one for women (i know there are not many women on this site but just in case...)

anyone got any ideas to start with?

Sean

Well for a 2nd or 3rd meal:

Corn tortilla with lettuce, cucumber, onion and a turkey breast with an apple.

I find its easy to make really nice to eat and really easy to eat as well no cutlery required

A great post-workout drink:

1/2 cup of raisins
1/4 cup of almonds
1 big banana
30 grams of whey protein (it can be flavoured, that's alright)
1 cup of milk
1/5 cup of water

Another post workout drink:

* 1/2 cup Acai + Blueberry juice
* 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (30g protein)
* 8oz Perrier

In a 16oz plastic 'glass' add scoop of protein powder and 1/2 cup Acai + Blueberry juice. I use Bom Dai Acaiberry with Blueberry. Mix well. Slowly add Perrier so to avoid over frothing. Drink. For protein powder I'm using either Natures Best Isopurse Zero Carb Vanilla, or Optimum Neutrition's Pro Complex. I would not choose any other flavor than vanilla for this recipe.
