PostSubject: What Books Have You Read This Year?   Sun Jan 27, 2008 10:50 am

I know that if you want to get that ultimate shredded sixpack you gotta educate yourself and make the journey a learning experience. If you read books on nutrition and fitness you are 10 times more inspired to reach your fitness goals, because you know what is going on..

So what books have you read this year that are related to Fitness, Nutrition, Goal setting, Success etc? Chances are if it helped you then it will help others. Hopefully we can get a great archive of books to read along our journey to sixpack abs.

Education can play a very big part especially if you want to be shredded. It is the key to knowing about nutrition and also resistance and conditioning training.

This year i have only read an old book of Ross Enamaits book called 'The Ultimate guide to Warrior Fitness'. Very good, is based on purly bodyweight exercises for all over body conditioning. Includes photos of virtually every exercise imaginable. Very good - Very motivational - Very much worth a read!

I do like reading but it does have to be specifics. I can't just pick up any old book. Obviously i have to read my Home Study Books;

- Business Taxation Compulations
- Drafting Financial Statement in Accounting Practice
- Managing People and Systems in an Accounting Environment

Which as you can imagine are dead boring - why i chose accountancy i will never know. (other than the money of course). Other than that i do find exercise books interesting, trying to get more of Ross' books to read through. Also i have wanted to buy some Navy Seal books as i am interested in their fitness.

Being honest i have never found nutrition books interesting, so i have never managed to read one. Might have to change that.

I like reading too, not as fan as steve lol (100books? good luck bro Razz ) but i do read novels and ... of course... the electronic's books (not sure if that counts as reading lol... pure numbers in there pale )

Anyways, i do totally agree with steve. Reading about fitness and nutrition will get you there a lot faster than just working out. We are all aware of that because me, for one, think that all the good info we have got together under the 'links' and 'diet and nutrition' area are gold info for this challenge. And thats just like 1% of the amount of great info out there. Im downloading a few .PDF files about fitness. I'll let you guys know if they are worth it.

As they say Fitness Success is on the top shelf and the only way to reach it is by standing on all the books you've read. Let that one sink in for awhile.. Exclamation
