Just saw this on a documentary called The truth about food: when you put the ingredients of a meal in a blender with water (and thus make soup out of it), it will take an hour longer to get a hunger feeling than when you eat the same meal in solid and drink the same amount of water with it.

Loved that fact since I love vegie soup Very Happy

Not that fond of soup - but i do really need to start eating it. Possibly for lunch at work, home made stuff - not the 'cup of soup' rubbish that you can buy, im sure they arnt as healthy as the portray.

Steve (or anyone else) any good soup recipies?

Not a big soup guy myself either, but I will look into it, my girlfriend has tons of soup recipes, I will get the awesome tasting ones and post them up.
