| Hey just wanted to say hi and introduce myself also to wish everyone good luck. Im Aaron, age 19, weight 302lb. I've decided to do this to become healthy again and get back down and toned to a weight I use to be. I use to play rugby competitively quite a lot when I was 6 – 17 years old. I trained most nights as I played for my local school, club, clubs under 18’s, district and county I also was one of those cardio fanatics who jogged every morning come rain nor shin I also went regularly to my local gym from 15 – 17 years old, I was very good with my nutrition as I had studied a lot into the area. I was toned and had a constant weight of 170lb however this all went downhill when I went to college and joined the rugby academy. I became very involved in the social scene and would often go out and not be able to get up in the morning to train. I also had a big fall out with my college rugby coach and stopped playing for the college, this didn’t go down very well with the year above as it was a joint year team and I had been playing club rugby with them for the last 2 years as well as my own age groups team. The year above gradually shunned me out of the club, finishing my rugby. I left college. I became quite depressed. I gained about 100lb in 6 months and just stayed at home I’ve the same weight since. Lately I have got over my problems and returned back to college and still have most my mates from before however I just feel as though I am not the same person as before and only half of what I can be. Lol nice long first post, but I decided I would let you in on my life. I started the nutrition on Friday as I decided Friday would be my shopping day after work. I will post my week’s nutrition plan later tonight so you can all see what you think I am just about to do my resistance training and will post up some pictures. Again good luck to all I hope I can be helpful.

| Welcome a2kcollett, I'm glad that you joined up. I know what you're coming from, man, and you absolutely did the right thing when you decided to join up, no doubt about it! - In my point of view nutrition is half the battle and by eating right, excercising regularly and having motivation you should get back to your old "you" in no time. I believe in you as I believe in myself and everybody else. We can do this. We WILL do this! You can always pm me, stop by my blog or contact me on msn, if you need anything. The same goes for the rest of you. Let's bring that six-pack back! |

| Hey there Aaron. As Danny and Steve said, congrats on taking the decition and joining us. Thats the most important part of all this. Now that your here, and after reading your post about what a hard time you've been having, let me tell you that, if you let us, we will not only support your training, but you can count on us (on me for one) for any problems you have. We are here for you! Alright now that im done with the sentimental part my first advice to you is that you should create a blog and post some pictures of you. If you dont feel like posting them at least take them and save em. Its amazing when you compare progress with pictures, believe me. Well thats it for now man. I really hope you stick with us! Take care, Manny.- _________________ |

| Well hey all. Thanks for the words. Sorry, I haven't been around much, but I'm working on doing better with that. Steve, the 12 week program is starting out very easy. I have to do more exercises to feel anything. I can pretty much blow through the first few weeks with ease. I've taken a couple weeks off from working out to concentrate on my rock climbing. Which, is a VERY good workout in itself. My back is getting way strong along with my forearms. I will be returning to the Tyler Durden workout soon. I thought this week, but looks like next week. I'm still getting in a good workout. I'll be climbing one day, then working out the next day. That's my plan for now. Hopefully, next week. |
